CanIRON X will be held in the beautiful maritime village of Baddeck, Nova Scotia: Canadian home to famed inventor Alexander Graham Bell. Baddeck’s heritage includes a spirit of innovation, experimentation and exploration that we hope will inspire participants and demonstrators at CanIRON X.
The conference will be held at the MacAulay Conference Facility at the Inverary Resort. This waterfront property is situated on the Bras d’Or Lake overlooking Baddeck Bay, where the flight of the Silver Dart took place in 1909 – the first powered, heavier-than-air machine to fly in Canada. The Inverary will provide the ideal facilities for CanIRON X lectures and blacksmithing demonstrations, as well as convenient food, beverage and on-site accommodation options for participants and special guests.
The venue is located within the village of Baddeck, where a variety of services, accommodations, and recreational opportunities are available to guests. Baddeck is also an ideal location from which to explore Cape Breton Island and the Canadian Maritime provinces.
